Activities

Ideas for activities (besides sightseeing) during the week; let me know if any sound good (or awful):

party at the pool, miniature golf at Rocky Gorge, pancake and waffle breakfast, board games, pinochle tournament, other ideas?

Thanks for posting everything, Jeffrey!

I think the mini golf and baseball outings would be great for everyone (those that want to be active will have the opportunity to do so, while those that need to rest will have the space to do that).

As for the museums, we'd like to try the zoo and the Smithsonian offerings. I don't think that AJ would care too much for some of the other museums geared for the older kids, but we can always can hang at the house or find other activities if a group is heading to do those things.

Let me know when you guys need assistance with food, etc!

i might be interested in Arlington (i could split away from AJ + Molly). Also, the Newseum sounds interesting to me also, but along the Mall there will be so much to see/experience, i guess it would lower on my list. That might be a good one to goto sans kids.

Terry & I like mini-golf. If we can take Amber, (we can trade off holding her, like we did at a bowling alley recently) we'd enjoy that. Of course, I'm always up for a little pinochle, and Terry usually likes UNO, dominoes, Hearts or Rummey (sp?).
